About

Short Bio

My education is in Graphic Arts. I enjoy road biking, skiing, hiking and running, spending quality time with my family and friends, creating all types of art, and always finding a way to have fun.

Statement

While my experience and interest in graphic arts can be seen in many of my paintings, I also want to feel free in expressing my ideas without any restrictions. This is why my art is always a mixture of various art styles. Being a very curious person, I enjoy trying new techniques and mediums. My Philadelphia City Scape collage created out of colored tissue paper that bleeds is a result of this curiosity. I had never tried to create colors by layering different colors of small pieces of tissue paper. It was very time consuming and messy, but also very satisfying to see the finished product. Bottom line, whether I’m working on a simple abstract floral painting or detailed illustrations for a book that I am writing, my goal is to improve and expand my skills and techniques while having fun.
